How Mindfulness Helps Reduce Social Anxiety – Infographic
Did you know that studies have proven how practising mindfulness for 10 minutes a day helps reduce anxiety in less than 8 weeks?
So, how can you use mindfulness to your advantage?
First you can incorporate it relatively informally into your every day life, with simple breathing exercises to help focus attention wherever you are. And you can make it part of your daily routine, setting 10 minutes time aside for meditation exercises.
I’ve created an infographic below that shows how mindfulness helps the ‘anxious mind’ to become calmer, bringing more clarity and focus.
Conclusion
If you haven’t considered mindfulness to help your social anxiety, then I’d recommend you give it a try. This form of meditation has been around for centuries, and over the past 15 years I have seen some really positive results with clients.
So, what are you waiting for?
All the best, Kyle
